Milebrook House is situated in the Teme Valley 12 miles from the beautiful market town of Ludlow and a mile and a half to the east of the border town of Knighton. Milebrook House was once the home to Sir Wilfred Thesiger the famous writer and explorer. The house is close to Offas Dyke and the start to Glyndwr's Way, set amidst the typical wooded rolling Marches landscape , much of which is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with the mountains and moorlands of Mid-Wales to the west. The area is a mecca for walkers and ramblers.
